Renovation underway?

Morgs Moves provides non-structural rip-outs and strip-outs and waste removal services across South Wales. We remove old fixtures and fittings and take the debris away in the same visit, helping your project stay on schedule and often avoiding the need for a skip.

A practical skip alternative

Rip-outs create awkward, bulky waste fast. With a man-and-van rip-out, you don’t need to arrange skip delivery/collection or spend hours loading it. We can remove the materials as the job progresses (staged collections) or clear everything in one go once the space is stripped.

Common rip-out jobs

Kitchens
units, worktops, sinks, shelving and flooring (where practical).
Bathrooms
suites, cabinets, tiles (where practical) and general strip-out debris.
Landlord refreshes
quick strip-outs between tenancies or before re-letting.
Light commercial de-fits
non-structural fixtures, counters, shelving and back-of-house fittings.

What “non-structural” means

This service focuses on fixtures and fittings, not load-bearing walls or full-building demolition. If you’re unsure what’s structural, send photos and we’ll confirm what we can do safely (or advise on a specialist contractor where needed).

Safety and exclusions (asbestos awareness)

Older properties can contain asbestos-containing materials. If you unexpectedly come across something you suspect may be asbestos, stop work and get it assessed before disturbing it further. We do not remove asbestos or hazardous materials. If electrical items (appliances/white goods) are included, let us know so they can be handled through appropriate WEEE routes.

How it works

Send photos/video, room count and access details (or request a quick site visit).
We confirm scope and provide a clear quote (labour + removal).
We protect key areas where practical, complete the rip-out, load the waste and leave the area tidy and ready for the next trade.

Pricing approach

Rip-outs are usually priced on labour plus disposal because fixings, tiles and access can change the time required. Smaller, pre-bagged debris can sometimes fit a load-based price.

Get a quote

Fastest quotes: send photos + your postcode + access notes (stairs, distance, parking).

Duty of care (landlords and businesses)

If the waste is produced as part of business activity (including landlord work), it’s subject to duty-of-care requirements and may need waste transfer documentation. We’ll align the paperwork to the job scope.

Areas we cover

Pontyclun-based and working across Cardiff, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Bridgend, Pontypridd, Caerphilly, Newport, Barry, Swansea, Llantwit Major, Aberdare and South Wales.

FAQs

Q: Is this structural demolition?
A: No. This is for fixtures/fittings and non-structural strip-outs. If load-bearing work is involved, you’ll need a specialist contractor.
Q: What if asbestos is suspected?
A: Stop work and get it assessed. We do not remove asbestos.
Q: Can you remove kitchens/bathrooms in one day?
A: Often, but it depends on fixings, tiles and access—send photos for a realistic plan.
