FAQs
Q: Do I need to be home during the clearance?
A: Not always. If access is safe and you’ve clearly separated what must stay, we can often complete the job without you on site.
Q: Can you work to an end-of-tenancy deadline?
A: Often yes, subject to availability. Send photos and your date ASAP.
Q: What can’t you take?
A: We don’t remove asbestos, oils/chemicals/paint/solvents, medical/biological waste, explosives/flammables, and other restricted items (see Terms & Conditions).
Q: Can you remove white goods and electrical items?
A: Yes—tell us in advance so we can plan the correct routing and handling.
Q: How much does a house clearance in Bridgend cost?
A: Most jobs are priced by load size; you pay for the volume we actually remove, not a flat rate, regardless of how much there is. Smaller single-room or partial clearances cost less than a full property. For larger jobs, we quote a fixed price after you send photos, so you know exactly what to expect before we arrive.
Q: Do I need to be at the property during the clearance?
A: Not always. If access to the property is straightforward and you have clearly identified what needs to go and what stays, we can often complete the job without you on site. We will confirm the arrangement with you in advance.
Q: How quickly can you carry out a house clearance in Bridgend?
A: We can often turn around bookings at short notice, particularly for landlords with void properties or time-sensitive situations. Send us photos and your preferred date, and we will confirm availability as soon as possible. Same-week bookings are regularly available depending on current scheduling.
Q: Are you a licensed waste carrier?
A: Yes. As a registered waste carrier, we are legally authorised to collect and transport waste. We only use authorised facilities for recycling and disposal. We can provide our waste carrier number on request, and a waste transfer note is available if needed to satisfy your duty-of-care obligations.
Q: What items can you not remove?
A: We do not remove asbestos, oils, chemicals, paint, solvents, medical or biological waste, explosives, or flammables. If you are unsure whether an item falls into a restricted category, contact us before booking, and we will advise. If you have oversized items like old appliances or large bits of junk, our bulky waste collection in Bridgend is a much easier and more affordable alternative to hiring a skip.
