FAQs
Q: Do you provide a waste transfer note?
A: For non-hazardous commercial waste, a WTN is normally required—confirm with us at booking and we’ll align the paperwork to the job.
Q: Can you work out of hours?
A: Where availability allows, yes—ask when you send photos.
Q: Can you remove electrical items?
A: Yes—flag WEEE items in advance so the route and handling are correct.
Q: What can’t you take?
A: Restricted/hazardous items (including asbestos and chemicals/solvents) are not accepted—see Terms & Conditions.
Q: Do I need to move the furniture outside for collection?
A: No. One of our biggest USPs is that we collect from inside your home. Whether it’s an upstairs wardrobe or a heavy sofa in the lounge, our team handles all the lifting and carrying.
Q: What happens to the furniture once you collect it?
A: We follow a strict hierarchy: Donate, Recycle, Dispose. If the item is reusable, we aim to give it to local charities. If not, it is taken to an authorised recycling centre where it is broken down for recycling.
Q: Can you remove large items like pianos or American-style fridges?
A: Yes. We specialise in bulk items. As long as the item can safely fit through the exits of the property, our insured team can remove it. We offer fast collection for sofas, wardrobes, and beds. If you only have a few standalone items, check out our bulky waste collection service for a quick turnaround.
Q: Do you offer same-day furniture removal in Cardiff?
A: We often have man-and-van teams in Cardiff and the surrounding valleys daily. If you send us a photo of the items, we can frequently fit you in for a same-day or next-day collection.
Q: Are you insured if something gets bumped during the move?
A: Yes. We are fully insured for public liability and goods in transit. We take extreme care in your home, but you have total peace of mind knowing we are professional, licensed carriers.
