FAQs
Q: Do you provide a waste transfer note?
A: For non-hazardous commercial waste, a WTN is normally required—confirm with us at booking and we’ll align the paperwork to the job.
Q: Can you remove furniture from upstairs rooms in Swansea?
A: Yes. If the access is safe, we can collect furniture from upstairs rooms, flats, and shared houses. Send photos of the item and route out so we can plan the job properly.
Q: Can you remove electrical items?
A: Yes—flag WEEE items in advance so the route and handling are correct.
Q: What can’t you take?
A: Restricted/hazardous items (including asbestos and chemicals/solvents) are not accepted—see Terms & Conditions.
Q: Do I need to move the furniture outside for collection?
A: No. The service is designed so you do not need to lift heavy furniture yourself. We can collect from inside the room, as long as access has been agreed beforehand.
Q: What happens to the furniture once you collect it?
A: We follow a strict hierarchy: Donate, Recycle, Dispose. If the item is reusable, we aim to give it to local charities. If not, it is taken to an authorised recycling centre where it is broken down for recycling.
Q: Can you remove large items like pianos or American-style fridges?
A: Yes. We specialise in bulk items. As long as the item can safely fit through the exits of the property, our insured team can remove it. We offer fast collection for sofas, wardrobes, and beds. If you only have a few standalone items, check out our bulky waste collection service for a quick turnaround.
Q: Can you collect a single heavy item?
A: Yes. Single-item collections are possible for sofas, mattresses, wardrobes, tables, and similar bulky pieces, depending on availability and access.
Q: Are you insured if something gets bumped during the move?
A: Yes. We are fully insured for public liability and goods in transit. We take extreme care in your home, but you have total peace of mind knowing we are professional, licensed carriers.
